How to pack for cold weather

• Several pairs of socks, a hat, gloves and scarf
• A few thin, long-sleeved shirts, turtlenecks and thermals for layering. Avoid bulky sweaters or jackets
• One pair of long underwear
• One warm fleece jacket or lined windbreaker
• Lip Balm to protect chapped lips
• Keep sunglasses and sunblock handy at all times, especially when visiting snowy areas
